SJM-2026 RULES
1. In every match 7 players will be on the field.
2. Each match will be of 7 overs. One over to each player (Each over will be of 5 ball)
3. NEW OPENING PAIR (ONE PLAYER CAN BE SAME) FOR EACH MATCH IN LEAGUE.
4. Powerplay over can be taken from 1st to 5th over, or else 6th will be mandatory Powerplay over. In power play only 1 player will be at boundary line.
5. Note:- any grievance after the end of the match will not be entertained in any case.
6. The team which scores more runs after 3 overs then that team will get one bonus point in each matches.
7. If one team all downs other team (take all wickets) then that team will get one bonus point.
8. If one team scores more than or equal to 100 total runs in one match the that team will get one bonus point.
9. Runs scored on last ball of each innings will be considered double runs(runs scored on last ball * 2) like if 2 runs scored then 4 runs considered. Even if there is wicket on the last ball, 2 wickets will be considered.
10. At the end of league matches if points are same, then teams will advance on the basis of net run rate.
11. In case of a tie, both teams will be allotted one point each. But for quarter final, semi final & Final there will be a super over. If super over also get tie, then there will be ball out system. (3 bowls to be bowled by 3 players and if bowl out system tie then toss).
12. Umpire decision will be last decision.
13. No Speed Gun to be used this year. Umpire can directly give a no ball off speed if he feels so.
14. First ball above the shoulder in an over will be given as first bounce, thereafter every ball above shoulder will be a no ball. If the ball is above the head, it will be directly given as a no ball.
15. Full toss above waist level is no ball.
16. If the ball is bowled outside the pitch, it will be a no-ball.
17. Each no ball will have free hit. (only run out will be given in free hit).
18. Our committee members will take final decision if any dispute on the field.
19. All team should be strictly in their respective kits for the tournament. If owner provides only tshirt then compulsory black lower. Sports shoes compulsory, no spikes are allowed.
20. Mankad wicket (non striker run out wicket), will be given out after first warning.
21. Bowler should bowl within the prescribed box. If any bowler touches box line then it will be considered as no ball.
22. Super over = only 3 batsmen will be play. (that means 2 wickets).
23. Runner will not be allowed in any case.
24. Fibre Bat is also not allowed during matches.
25. It would be mandatory for the team to be present 30 minutes prior the match.
26. The tournament schedule is from 24TH APR 2026 TO 26TH APR 2026 (FRIDAY TO SUNDAY).
27. Cricket is known as “the gentlemen’s game” so all the teams are expected to play in true spirit of game.
28. All players, cricket lovers (viewers) should park their vehicle at their own risk if any undue circumstances happens Committee, team owner, captain or anyone else is not responsible.
29. Objective of this tournament is completely for gathering, entertainment and to bring the community together. It is our responsibility to compete in a sporting way.
